So on Tuesday, November 6th we found our A/C units in pieces. Apparently we have been victims of a copper robbery. People remove the copper and dismantle the units.
A potential $50,000 worth of damage was committed. However, it appears only about $16,000 of damage was done.
All in all, this has been a good thing. Several new families showed up this weekend. Our insurance will cover most of our damage. Also, we believe the criminal may be caught as well.
What have we learned?
1. God is good - all the time.
2. We are where we need to be.
3. We need to upgrade our lighting and security.
4. Money fixes a lot of issues.
